  Next the tiler informed me that I hadn’t got enough white tiles to complete the bathroom and I had to get another box. I rang the store and after no one getting back to me I decided to call in. I arranged to pick up a box from East West tiling wholesalers and when I was just pulling into the street I got a call saying that East West had thought they had giving me a gloss white tile instead of a matt rectified tile which I originally ordered.

  On 28th June I came into your Joondalup store and purchased $870 worth of tiles for my bathroom renovation. This was paid for in good faith, but the following day I received a phone call telling me that the tiles were unavailable and they had been sold to a house renovator and that there was a ten week wait for them to come back into stock. On hearing this news, I came back into the store with my wife and reluctantly chose some more tiles which were more expensive.

  On Monday, the tiler informed me that some of the tiles were broken in the boxes, but he managed to use them on the edges. Next, he informed me the some of the plane white tiles where different sizes and that they were out by as much as 2mm per tile. He opened all the boxes and managed to use similar sized tiles.

  Upon ordering our custom made bathroom which was very expensive, the customer service was out of this world. Ahhhh but once the money was paid, Forget it. In real time it took us nearly 7 months to get our bathroom in dribs and drabs, parts went missing, special ordered taps were sold off to other customers and worst of all when my vanity arrived it was not what I had ordered, we had waited that long for it we let them know we were not happy but did not really complain. Part of the vanity we had ordered was missing, 3 Months later we finally get it with a demand to pay for it, grrrrrr, it was already paid for, not according to them. My advice would be get your order first AND check it before you pay them.

  They were disappointed that they could not supply me the full amount of grout that i needed (i needed it that same day ) and the guy even rang another company to help me out. I wont mention the other company because the service from them was completely different. the two sales staff there, watched me battle with 7 bags of grout trying to open their heavy door to leave, whereas at Bathroom Decor, the guy carried the 2 bags for me to the car.

  After that he open the dark grey floor tiles only to tell me that these were also a different size from the wall tiles (300 x600) as they had probably been cut down. To make this work I decided it was going to be easier to change the pattern of the tiles to a brick pattern even though this is not what I wanted.

  Just want to say that the customer service for this company is sensational. From the help of choosing colours , working out quantities, to the advice on why i should choose one tile over another was above and beyond.

  After speaking to East West they told me that you had ordered the wrong tile (gloss), instead of the matt finished which I ordered. So now I have a different tile on the wall to which I ordered. The matt finish is clearly stated on my invoice and is a rectified tile where the gloss one isn’t.

  When buying these tiles this is not the kind of service I expected. I’ve spent over $1000 on tiles that I never really wanted and this has caused me continuous aggravation from start to finish and this is due to multiple errors and mistakes on your part.

  I picked up the tiles the following Wednesday and took them home for the tiler to install. The tiles were in a non-descript white box with “high quality tiles” written on the side. The batch numbers matched and the Tiler began to install them on the following Monday.
